The US administration will announce a $300 million military aid package for Ukraine. Reuters reported this with reference to undisclosed sources.
The package is expected to include the Himmers launcher and Guided Multiple Launch Rockets (GMLRS) for other munitions. These will be provided from the Pentagon treasury.
At the same time, the source also said that an announcement may be made in this regard next week.
The United States has pledged a total of nearly $37 billion in military aid to Ukraine since the start of Russia’s special military operation in the country.
Russia’s ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, has warned that the West’s militarization of Ukraine is a direct threat to European and global security.
