Scientists recently presented this surprising information at the 54th Lunar and Planetary Science Conference. What exactly is said there? Researchers claim that the entire planet Mars is being explored during the experiment. Especially the polar regions. But this ‘discovery’ is in a region near the equator of Mars. The research team was led by Dr. Pascal Lee. He said there was a strong possibility of a glacier near the equator. From where it is assumed, maybe there is a little bit of water somewhere deep.
How was this glacier found? Scientists say this glacier-like object is being thoroughly examined. From the information available so far, it is known that it is about 6 km long and 4 km wide. Not only that, but research suggests that there is quite a layer of light-colored sulfate salts on top of it.
