News Daily Digital Desk: Earthquake shook Ecuador and Peru. The magnitude of the tremor is 6.8 on the Richter scale. At least 15 deaths have been reported so far. Many people are feared to be trapped in the rubble. The rescue team reached the area quickly. Pictures of debris and electric wires along the road have spread on social media. Many have also shared the video of the moment of the earthquake.
The impact of the earthquake is mainly in southern Ecuador and northern Peru. One person died in Peru and 14 in Ecuador. Local administration claims that at least 126 people were injured. As soon as the earthquake started, panic spread in the area. Many people are seen running through the streets shouting.

Ecuador’s president, Guillermo Lasso, said the earthquake killed 12 people in the coastal city of El Oro. Besides, 2 people died in Ajua. However, despite the news of death coming from these two places, it is said that tremors were felt throughout Peru. Police and rescue forces have already reached the affected areas. Detainees are being quickly rescued and taken to a safe place.
