Rahul Gandhi | Will Congress benefit from Rahul’s rejection of the Lok Sabha post?

New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi’s (Rahul Gandhi’s) Lok Sabha membership (Lok Sabha Member) has been rejected (Disqualification), has the Congress (Congress) benefited in the end? Apparently the country’s oldest team has suffered its biggest shock in recent times as it stands today. But, on the other hand, this is the golden time for disunited groups to unite in the fight for survival. Because strong anti-Congress parties are also standing against BJP today. Almost every non-BJP party in the country has condemned Rahul’s rejection of Lok Sabha membership. From that side, the wind of sympathy of the common people of the country is blowing on the Congress flag. In particular, the legal battle announced by the Congress on Friday, if successful, will ultimately burn the face of the BJP and the profits of the Congress.

Rahul Gandhi will not be able to stand for election for the next 8 years as per today’s situation after being convicted in the court and sentenced to 2 years in jail. It is like a lightning strike for the Congress. Rahul is currently 52 years old. That is, he cannot stand for Lok Sabha polls till the age of 60 years. If for some reason the Lok Sabha polls are held before the 2034 general elections, then Rahul can contest the 2034 elections. He will be 65 years old then. Not only this, several other cases are pending against Rahul.

What can Rahul and the Congress party do in this situation? According to some legal experts, the ‘former’ MP from Waynard can regain his post if he can get the jail and conviction verdicts thrown out by the Court of Appeal. As per the order of the court, after his dismissal from the Lok Sabha secretariat, re-election will be held in that centre. Rahul may also be asked to vacate his government bungalow.

Eminent legal expert Kapil Sibal said that the court will not only reject the sentence. The conviction should also be set aside by the High Court. If this is not done in the high court, then Rahul Gandhi will not be able to stand for election for the next 8 years.

Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the opposition Aam Aadmi Party, said in response to the rejection of Rahul’s MP post, that the country is on the path of destruction due to what is going on under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They are scared. Rajasthan’s Congress Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot recalled the year 1977 and said that same thing happened against Indira Gandhi. But as history knows, he returned to the post of Prime Minister with a huge victory. People of the country can see it this time too. Voters will decide against BJP in 2024.
