Rahul Gandhi-Parliament | 14 opposition parties in the Supreme Court including ED, CBI, Congress-Trinamool are behind the opposition
New Delhi: 14 opposition parties led by Congress are approaching the Supreme Court. Agencies like CBI, ED are being misused against the opposition. 14 opposition parties appealed to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court DY Chandrachud (CJI DY Chandrachud) on Friday. The petition demanded that the apex court issue directions on arrest, action and post-arrest steps. Accepting the application, the Supreme Court has fixed the date of hearing on April 5. Apart from the Congress, the joint petition includes Aam Aadmi Party, Uddhav faction’s Shiv Sena, DMK, RJD, BRS, Trinamool Congress, NCP, JMM, GDU, CPM, CPI, SP and National Conference.

The Lok Sabha erupted in uproar on Friday over the conviction of Rahul Gandhi. This morning, the Congress MP from Wenara appeared in the Lok Sabha. The Congress members went down to the well and started protesting. They chanted slogans demanding that Rahul Gandhi be given a chance to speak. Within moments, the Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day. The next meeting will be held on March 27.
Meanwhile, the ruling BJP passed the Finance Bill 2023 in the Lok Sabha. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman introduced the bill in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. The ruling party had issued whips to attend party meetings to pass the money bill. It is noteworthy that, when the debate is raging across the country on the new and old pension schemes, the Finance Minister proposed the formation of a committee in this regard. The committee, comprising the finance secretary, will try to reconcile the claims of government employees with the fiscal capacity of the government and settle grievances related to pensions.

Due to this, security has been increased at many places, including the Congress headquarters on Akbar Road. The opposition will march towards Vijayachak on this day. According to sources, they will seek time to talk to President Draupadi Murmu about the situation.
Congress leader Renuka Chowdhury said on Friday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi broke a pot in the market, the day after Rahul Gandhi was found guilty. Renuka said that she is also going to file a defamation case against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Modi called Renuka ‘Surpanakha’ in Parliament in 2018.
