Papon assures to stay with Shakib’s cancer foundation

The holy month of Ramadan has started from Friday (March 24). Today is Shakib Al Hasan’s birthday on the same day. The world’s best all-rounder Shakib implemented a great initiative on his birthday. This afternoon, Shakib Al Hasan Cancer Foundation was inaugurated at Hotel Radisson Blu in the capital, Dhaka. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hasan Papon inaugurated this foundation by unveiling the logo.

Cancer treatment in Bangladesh is quite expensive. People are also not aware enough. Papon applauded Shakib’s initiative there.

BCB chief said, ‘Hopefully, Shakib’s foundation can make people aware. Where Shakib’s name is involved, it can easily grab people’s attention. This will increase awareness.’

Apart from this, the BCB President has assured to stay with Shakib Al Hasan Cancer Foundation all the time. He said, ‘I will only say this, this initiative of Shakib is very great. I will always support you. As I am the President of Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Industry Association, I can help people better from my place. Not only Shakib, I will give full support to everyone associated with this cancer foundation.’
