BJP leader and lawyer Subrahmanyam Swamy objected to it. He told the court that if he gets a passport, Rahul can influence the witnesses in the National Herald investigation by going abroad. So NOC should not be given to him.
Before the 2019 elections, the Congress leader sought the membership of the Parliament by making Rahul’s ‘Modi-comment’ in a public meeting. So after leaving the bungalow, Rahul submitted the diplomatic passport by himself. Rahul has a program in America on May 30. So before that he needs passport.

As he is out on bail in the National Herald case, a court’s NOC is required for a new passport. That is why the former Congress president approached the court. In preliminary observation, the court said on Tuesday that there should be no obstacle to get NOC. However, the petitioner Subhramian Swamy’s opinion was sought. In response, the BJP leader raised his objections. The next hearing of the case is next Friday.

Passport case pending in court. As a result, there is uncertainty about Rahul’s visit to America. Because Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to reach America on May 28. If the case is not resolved by May 26, Rahul’s visit to the US may become uncertain.
