Nandita Roy and Somnath Roy: Manish Kothari, the accountant of Anuvrata Mandal, is currently in the ED’s net. However, his lawyer claims that Central Investigation Agency officials are not interrogating Manish that way. He also said that despite the order of the court, he has not been interrogated in front of Anubrata Mandal.
Manish Kothari’s lawyer Raja Chattopadhyay met his client on Saturday. Then he opened his mouth in front of the journalists. He said that Manish Kothari is physically and mentally fine. However, despite this, it is claimed that he was not interrogated ‘properly’. The lawyer further said, “ED has repeatedly told the court that there are many things to be interrogated. But so far it has not been interrogated. It is a matter of concern.” ED has taken Manish Kothari into six-day custody. However, his lawyer claims that these six days were not used in that way. In that case, Manish’s lawyer also expressed his fear whether the ED will apply for the extension of the custody period.

It is to be noted that the ED has taken Anuvrata Mandal to Delhi after thousands of legal complications. Interrogation is going on there. According to sources, Anuvrata is in ED custody and is in a good mood. Anuvrata claimed that nothing will happen to him as the team is on his side. He told the investigating officer or himself. However, Trinamool state general secretary Kunal Ghosh refused to accept Anuvrata’s claim. “Nothing can be said by relying on any sources,” he said. ED summoned his accountant Manish Kothari immediately after Anuvrata’s Delhi trip. He was arrested on Tuesday night. Manish will be presented in court again next Monday.
