Bangladesh bowled first yesterday and bowled out Ireland for just 101 runs and then won the match by ten wickets. At the end of the match, Tamim was saying, ‘Unbelievable. The way we have played in this whole series has been very good. The batting performance we had in the first two matches was something we had never done before. Especially, when we were fielding today, the way the fast bowlers bowled, it was unbelievable. I am not sure if it has ever happened before in Bangladesh that fast bowlers have taken all the wickets. Now I can proudly say that we have a solid, solid, solid fast bowling attack.’
Tamim said, ‘If you look at our XI today, there were three fast bowlers, two left-arm spinners and one off-spinner. In the bowling department we have probably covered everything. I think this is the way forward. We have to have faith in the players. There may be many ups and downs ahead. But this unit has all the ingredients to be the best in the world.’
