News Daily Digital Desk: Rahul Gandhi, who was accused of insulting the country on foreign soil, opened his mouth in the meeting of the parliamentary committee. Explaining the comments he made at the University of Cambridge (Cambridge) that the BJP is questioning, the Congress MP said that he only wanted to convey the dangers of Indian democracy in London. And that cannot be treason in any way.

A few days ago, while visiting London, Rahul complained, “India’s democracy is in danger. Opposition voices are being suppressed. Parliament is not allowed to say. The mic is turned off. Cases are filed against opposition leaders in such cases, which cannot be done at all.” BJP alleges that Rahul has actually opposed the country by making these comments on foreign soil. The Parliament is also constantly in turmoil with the comments of the MP of One. BJP has made it clear that Parliament will not be allowed to proceed until Rahul apologizes.

Rahul himself wanted to stand up in Parliament and explain his comments. But he was allegedly not allowed to speak there. At the end, the Congress leader addressed the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on G-20. On Saturday, in the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on G-20 under the leadership of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, a heated argument started over Rahul’s comments. In fact, it is alleged that the BJP MPs started taunting Rahul on this day. In response to that sarcasm, the Congress MP said, he highlighted the state of democracy. And also said that India will solve the problem itself without any foreign intervention. India did not object in any way.

BJP MPs stopped him in the middle of his speech. They said Rahul is actually trying to distract from issues like G20 chairmanship. In turn, the opposition MPs again started saying that Rahul has the right to defend himself. Committee chairman and Foreign Minister Jaishankar had to come down in the midst of controversy over this. He calmed down the members and said that there will be no discussion on anything other than the G20. Minister of State for External Affairs Muralidharan, BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao, Mahesh Jethmalani, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor Rao were present in the meeting.
