News Daily Digital Desk: Farmers’ long march incident in Maharashtra. A protesting farmer died due to illness. It is also reported that several farmers have fallen ill.
In fact, thousands of farmers and Dalits started a mass movement against the BJP government in Maharashtra a few days ago. Under the banner of All India Kishan Sabha, the farmers’ organization of CPM, the farmers started marching from Nashik to Mumbai with a total of 17 points. The movement of farmers became so big that the government was forced to come down in a hurry. Under pressure, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde held talks with the farmers. Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadanbis met with the farmers’ delegation on Thursday. Rafasutra came out in that meeting. The farmers decided to call off the march and wait at the Maharashtra border until the government order comes into effect.

According to sources, 58-year-old Pundalik Ambo Yadav was in the farmers’ dharna at the Mumbai border on Friday. The farmer, a resident of Nashik, felt sick at the protest site on Friday afternoon and was taken to hospital. However, he was discharged from the hospital as he felt somewhat better after the initial treatment. After having dinner, the farmer felt sick again. He died at night. The opposition is naturally blaming the government for the farmer’s death during the agitation.

Meanwhile, untimely rains are lamenting across Maharashtra. It is reported that at least 5 farmers have lost their lives due to the storm in different parts of the state. Not only that, it is also reported that crops of about 5 thousand hectares of land have been destroyed due to untimely rains.
