News Daily Digital Desk: Khalistan leader Amritpal Singh is still missing. The Punjab Police is conducting a comb-over search for him. Amritpal’s house has already been searched for three to four hours. Meanwhile, his father Tarsem Singh claimed that Amritpal was being framed as he was fighting against drugs. Along with Tarsem’s claim, “Punjab (Punjab) has drugs in every house.”
What exactly did Tarsem say? In his words, “The police are behind Amritpal. But doing nothing against drug dealers. My son returned home a few months ago. What did the police do when the crime happened before? Actually Amritpal was fighting against drugs. That is why there is pressure from the political circles to arrest him. The action taken against him is unethical. Door to door drugs in Punjab. But no attention is paid to it. This is how anyone trying to end drug violence is stopped.” Tarsem also claimed that even after searching his house, the police did not find anything.

Amritpal is the head of Khalistani organization ‘Waris Punjab De’. The police arrested his close aide Lobhreet Tufan last month. After that, Amritpal told RG to withdraw all the charges against Lovepreet. Saaf said, “If all the complaints are not dismissed within an hour, the result will not be good. If there is any problem if the complaint is not dismissed, the administration alone will be responsible for it.” It was then that the situation became tense. Amritpal’s followers surrounded the police station. Some police personnel were injured in the attack.
Notably, ‘Waris Punjab De’ was created by late politician Deep Sidhu. After his death, the responsibility of the organization fell on Amritpal. Amritpal is absconding. A manhunt is being conducted to nab him. A few of Amritpal’s close friends also returned. A strict alert has been issued in Punjab in this situation.
