And the former US president expressed his fear that he may be arrested next Tuesday in that case. Expressing that fear on the social media site Truth Social on Saturday, he also requested the followers to take to the streets in protest.
In 2018, Stormy Daniels, the actress of the famous Neel film, revealed her sexual relationship with former US President Donald Trump. He claimed, ‘When Trump was fighting for the US presidency in 2016, they still had a sexual relationship. And for opening up about that sexual relationship, Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen received a bribe of one hundred and thirty thousand dollars. Stormy’s claim caused an uproar. However, Trump denied the allegations. He also alleged that purposeful charges were brought against him to serve political interests.
The investigation against Trump began shortly after Stormy Daniels’ explosive claims. The investigation is being conducted by the Manhattan Court Attorney General’s Office. Meanwhile, Trump expressed the fear of sudden arrest on Saturday. Ultimately, if Trump is indeed arrested on Tuesday, it would be unprecedented. He will be the first former US president to be arrested for a criminal offence. Moreover, the possibility of his candidacy in the US presidential election next year will also be a shock.
