Recently, the ‘Kailas Rashtra’ created by the Indian priest Nityananda has been in controversy several times. In this situation, the representatives of Kailash faced the journalists. Kailash is not recognized as a country by the United Nations. However, the officials of Kailash claimed it as their own state.
In 2019, religious guru Nityanand fled India after multiple rape allegations. An island adjacent to Ecuador has been bought entirely. He claimed that region as the state of Kailash. A few days ago, representatives of Kailash state were invited to a United Nations conference. Nithyananda’s disciple Vijayapriya attended that conference. Since then, the controversy has raged.

However, the United Nations issued a statement to deal with the situation. Whatever Nithyananda said on the international stage is totally irrelevant, there is no point in giving importance to this matter. However, the interest in the Kailash state in international circles is increasing. In response to the questions of the journalists, the representative of Kailas State said, “Actually, Kailas State has no borders. Our state was created for the purpose of public service.”
In the press conference, the representative of Kailash also said, “Our country is working to keep the ancient Hindu civilization alive. We work with various voluntary organizations around the world.” The Kailash representatives cited Malta as an example. Several rape allegations against Nityananda, the founder of the Kailasa state, were also questioned. However, representatives of Kailash said, “These allegations are absolutely false. Human rights lawyers gave the investigation report. No charges were found against Nithyananda there either.”
