The police have started combing search to find the accused. No arrests had been made till Thursday morning.
The unrest started on Wednesday evening. Ramnavami is in the month of Ramadan. On that occasion, there is a festive mood among the people of both communities. In such a situation, a fight broke out between two groups of youths in Aurangabad’s Kiradpura area on Wednesday evening. Later it takes on the appearance of a battlefield. A large police force went to the area after receiving the information.

Police Commissioner Nikhil Gupta said that as soon as the police came down to control the situation, there was a retaliatory attack. Six-seven vehicles, including a police vehicle, were set on fire. The frenzied mob ran rampant for about an hour. Later the police brought the situation under control. The search for the accused is on. However, no one has been arrested yet. Meanwhile, it has been seen in the viral video on social media that the public representatives have come to the field to calm down the locals.
Local MP Imtiaz Jalil said the two groups got into trouble over a declaration. A few shows gathered around that disturbance. Stones are thrown. He claims that the situation is currently under control.
