Sports Desk: Bangladesh kept their hopes of winning the title alive by defeating India in SAFF U-17 Women’s Championship.
The hosts defeated India 1-0 in a life-and-death match at the capital’s Kamalapur Stadium on Friday.
Bangladesh got the first chance at the beginning of the match. Suravi Akand Preeti failed to get a foot on Pooja Das’s cross. After that, Sultana Akhtar could not hit the target even after receiving the ball. In the 16th minute of the match, the host Bangladesh was saved from conceding a goal.
