Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi have been banned from leaving the country for 80 leaders.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s special assistant Ataullah confirmed the matter on Thursday (May 25).
Ataullah said, apart from Imran Khan and Bushra, among the PTI leaders, Asad Umar, Malika Bokhari, Qasim Suri, Asad Qaiser, Murad Saeed, Hammad Azhar, Yasmin Rashid and Aslam Iqbal are on the banned list.
The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister said that the list of PTI leaders has been sent to all exit points and airports of the country.
According to an order of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the persons named in the list will not be allowed to leave Pakistan under any circumstances.
