Sports Desk ::Cricketer Shakib Al Hasan’s cricket career is wrapped in many successes. The word graduate was added next to his name. The left-handed all-rounder completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from American International University (AIUB).
The day after Bangladesh won the match against Ireland in Sylhet, the all-rounder attended the university convocation in Dhaka.
But for this he had to wait 14 years. In that 2009-10 session, Shakib was admitted to Bachelor of Business Administration in this university. He has been playing age-based cricket in the national team since the age of 19. He has become an integral part of the team since entering international cricket. Due to his poor performance on the cricket field, he could not progress in the way of formal education. Finally after a long journey he completed his BBA.
He has held the bat for 22 yards many times. Now he got up on the convocation stage and raised his hat. He has a big smile on his face. Bangladesh’s greatest cricketer of all time, the reigning all-rounder in world cricket is now officially a graduate!
